They are China's dog now and they know it. China will keep them from acting up because China has to much of an interest in keeping good relations with the US.
Um, nope. They talk a lot of shit. They have some border skirmishes, but I wouldn't worry about them. All it would take would be some sanctions to completely starve the country.
I'd consider them more of a threat if they could actually attack us. The last I heard they don't have a rocket that could clear the ocean. Kim Jong Il is still crazy.
I do see them as a direct threat. If asked this three months ago I would've said no. But the Kim family is watching revolutions spring up all over the dictated world. And I honestly believe that if Kim Jong il thought for even a second the same thing can happen in his country, he would at least invade the South.
I don't really see them as much of a threat to be honest. It's like the cold war, no one had the balls to fire on anyone else. You don't achieve anything if you get vaporized while you're attack the rest of the world.

I would be worried about our own govt. than them.

I think they are a threat to stability in Asia. Not really to the US directly.
