Now that the country the country is in complete chaos will it give the US and other countries the chance to catch up to them technologically and economically? I think it will, and Japan is going to be in trouble for at least the next few years. This might possibly be the end of their reign.

bad thing, im sure itll affect us negatively
only problem is currently we get almost all our technology from Japan. its going to do more harm than good.
Japan has been in regression for a number of years now. This is just more insult to injury. I'm hopeful that with the aid they receive, the country will bounce back.
What reign? They have been worse off than us since even way before the economic collapse of '08. In fact economists are referring to 2000-2010 for Japan as a "lost decade", whatever that means. Their biggest corporate CEO's made the same mistake ours did and sacrificed their industrial prowess for quick cash by shipping all of their manufacturing plants to China. They did this at an even quicker rate than we did. I challenge you to find a single piece of Japanese electronics equipment that doesn't have "Made in China" stamped on it.
Yeah. It's gonna affect our economy. Global economy in fact. Followed! alphabetalife.blogspot.com
there are too many factors to foresee what comes in the future. For now, we should help them
very short sighted in both the fact that they have already suffered from massive economic problems for well over a decade, and secondly it will only negatively impact the US and other counties.
Guess its bad for the whole economy
Im sure our gas prices will go up to $5 a gallon because of it. Just watch!
Very bad, no matter how you look at it.
I don't think it's good
It wont affect technology because Tokyo is largely untouched.
