What's going to become of the Middle East? Count this be an end of them as we know it, or a new beginning.

I'd like to here from some of my Middle Eastern viewers, however opinions from other countries are welcomed as too.

the NY times has had excellent coverage of the rebellions, especially in Lybia. Thank you liberal media!

Yeah, the situation is pretty bad. However, those former governments were really abusive. It's difficult to say if this is good or bad.

I truly believe that this could potentially be one of the most positive things to happen in our lifetime. I emphasize "potentially". It feels like the late 80s and early 90s when the former Warsaw Pact threw off the shackles of Communism. But unfortunately asshats abound in this freaky time of ours right now. And no doubt there will be assholes to take advantage of the situation and steer a revolution of liberty to a revolution of supremacy. That is never good...

Scott pretty much nailed it. It seems very exciting on the surface, and maybe there will be positive change. But, in the end, one strong arm is traded for another.

The dream of a united arab army and an Arabian Union is a dream we all have since we're kids =D

The revolution and the new age of democracy will allow these things. Probably in the next 10 years.

u mad?
