All Jobs to be Taken by Robots by 2037

According to some of Africa's top scientist, robots are scheduled to replace all humans in the workplace by the year 2037. This has cause widespread concern among economist who say that the if the human workforce is replaced entirely by machines, it could lead to a collapse in the world economy due to the high unemployment numbers. On the bright side machines do not need to be paid, and they do not need time off (yet) therefore the products and service's they provide would be extremely cheap, lower than the prices of goods manufactured in china today, however if nobody is working, nobody has the money to afford even the cheapest goods...

Well, if you believe in this, then you probably also believe in the N.W.O. plot to kill off loads of people so therefore robots taking over our jobs wouldn't be much of a problem. Seems pretty likely to me.

This NEEDS to happen. Humans do not need to spend their lives working for hours every day. If we had more time to innovate and be inspired by the beauty of life we could usher in a golden era for ALL 7 billion on this planet!

This scenario is not unrealistic, but the date is way too early.

Great post, and yea I agree, not to fond of how we're losing jobs to the mechanized work force.. Screw China, we're outsourcing jobs to robots!

Sadly this in inevitable, robots seem to be able to detect and fix anything automatically, it's a scary thought but I agree 2037 is a little early, but within the next 100 years certainly 50% of jobs will be taken by robots, unless there are laws put in place to save the economy (which I believe the laws are also inevitable)

Why is this bad? Now we can all sit at home on our ass and watch TV. Surely if there's no jobs left for people, the governments will implement some way of making living cost next to nothing.

It is quite worrying to see that scientific developments will result in a reduced need for human effort. I can see the benefits to a robotic workforce but there are certainly many issues here.
