Aliens Have Meeting to Discuss the Conquering of Earth

Early this morning a highly intelligent group of extraterrestrials representing various parts of the universe meet on Mars's "Olympus Mons" for the first time in over 10,000 years. The leader, whose name remains unknown, stated that they were planning ahead for their 2012 "invasion" of planet Earth, the concert is scheduled to take place Dec. 21st of that year. They said they might have to push it back a few weeks due to equipment failure on the headlining band's starship, which was on its way from their last show in the Gliese 876 star system when their warp drive had a malfunction delaying their universal tour.
